Southern gospel music cannot
get us into heaven. I love to sing southern gospel and it certainly
points the way to the Savior, but by itself it cannot save. Neither
can trusting in good churches, good habits, good deeds, or good
people... John Nix
Salvation is found only through a personal relationship with
Jesus Christ.
Neither is there salvation found in any
other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men,
whereby we must be saved. Acts
4:10
The reason that Jesus is the only way to heaven is simple but all
to often overlooked. Jesus Christ is God. In
the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the word
was God. John 1:1 If Jesus made Heaven and earth
and everything in them including you and I then we must talk to
him about eternal life.
The good news is that Jesus loves us! He wants to give us
eternal life, so much that he died on the cross so that our sins
may be washed away. All we have to do is believe in him and receive
his free gift of salvation. Have you done that?
Everyone needs salvation. The Bible says:
For
all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:10
The penalty of sin is death, but Jesus paid the price!
For
the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
All we have to do is believe and receive.
For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life. John 3:16
That if thou confess with thy mouth the
Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised
him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9-10
If you sincerely believe in Jesus as Lord, ask him to forgive you
of your sins and come into your heart to be your Savior, then you
will be saved.
It is the greatest decision you can ever make. It is the first
purpose of your life. You can make this decision right here and
right now. Why not receive Jesus today?
