Blair Cantrell:Tenor

Blair is no stranger to the gospel music industry. He started with his family's group, The Whitey Cantrell Singers, at age 15. His father, Lavon "Whitey" Cantrell, sang with the Original Gospel Tones

(one of the first groups to sign on Benson's Heartwarming label) and later the Scenicland Boys from Chattanooga, TN and also arranged The Cathedral Quartet classic "The Prodigal Son". His mother, Shirley Cantrell, was an accomplished song writer with such hits as "We Do Not Die" (Kingsmen), "Roman's 8:28"(Cathedrals), "Jesus is Right (for whatever's wrong in your life)" (Cathedrals), "I'm Gonna Live Forever" (Cathedrals) and many more. Blair has been married for 32 years to his wife Sonya. They have two wonderful grandchildren and they reside in Cleveland TN. Blair has had the past pleasure of working with many well-known artists such as Phil Cross & Poet Voices and others. He has been a part of the TH ministry team since 2003 and attends The North Cleveland Church of God.
